The Bear Cubs weathered the storm on Saturday night and captured their first Bay 6 Conference win for the season by beating visiting Contra Costa College 34-0. The game was dominated by great defense, explosive offensive plays, and solid special teams. The Bear Cubs allowed Contra Costa 53 yards of total offense, while the Bear Cub offense rallied in the mud for 477 yards.

This week the Bear Cubs travel to San Francisco City College. The Rams opened up conference play against Diablo Valley College on Friday, and were victorious with an impressive 44-7 victory. They are currently 4 & 2 on the season.
