Men's Track & Field: Corbin, Roybal, and Wofford Impress with 1st Place Finishes at De Anza Invitational

Christian Corbin and Isaiah Roybal represented the Bear Cubs well in the sprints this weekend at the DeAnza Invitational. Corbin took 1st place in the 400-meters at 49.50 seconds and his 2nd place finish (21.99) in the 200-meters fell closely behind his teammate, Roybal, who took 1st in the 200-meters with a finish of 21.95 seconds. Trevor Wofford joined the sprinters taking 1st place in the 400-Hurdles at 57.25 seconds. Rounding out the top finishers on the men's side was Adam Gockel with a 2nd place finish (4.35m) in the Pole Vault.

The Bear Cub men had a good day overall, with a 4th place (77 points) finish among a field of 17 teams and had a 3rd place finish in the 4x100 meters (Isaac, Corbin, Hemphill, Roybal) at 42.80 seconds.

The athletes who qualify will be at Sacramento State's Hornet Invitational on Saturday, March 18th, starting at 11 a.m.
