With three runners on, Haley Wyatt cleared the bases with a three-run double, increasing the margin to six runs, 8-2. The next batter for the Bear Cubs, Adriana Novak, crushed a two-run home run over the left-center fence. Novak's home run gave the Bear Cubs a 10-2 victory by the run-rule. With the game-one win, Santa Rosa improved to 5-2, and Baughn recorded her second victory.

In the second game of the doubleheader, Jessica Hernandez was the starting pitcher for the Bear Cubs. Yuba struck first in the opening frame on an errant throw that got past the third baseman on a steal. Santa Rosa evened the game at 1-1 in the second inning, on a sacrifice fly by Sofia Uricoechea. Later in the inning, Esperanza Marquez hit an RBI double, which tied the game, and the Bear Cubs took the lead on an error by Yuba's third baseman. Hailey Martin, who entered in relief for Hernandez in the fourth, was tasked with preserving a 4-3 Bear Cub lead.
