On a gloomy Tuesday at Delta College, the Bear Cubs fought a defensive fight. Scoring came early when Kaleigh Alves would take on Goalkeeper Amanda Valentine. Valentine would come out and make the first save against Alves, but Pricilla Villalobos would follow the play to put the ball in the back of the net in the fist ten minutes. Delta would counter with a corner kick just four minutes later, where Kiera Muniz would loft a ball over the defense and Goalkeeper Ali Miller.

In the second half, both teams had many chances for the game winner, but both would come up short and the game ended in a tie. Goalkeeper Ali Milone stepped in the second half for the Bear Cubs with a strong performance, stopping the direct pressure from Delta. The Bear Cubs will host Sierra College on Friday, October 28th at 3pm.
