The Bear Cubs split up into two groups this weekend with most of the team traveling to San Mateo on Friday for the Bob Rush Invitational while the rest competed against D-1 athletes at Sacramento State for the Hornet Invitational on Saturday. At San Mateo Freshman Julia Grimm stood out again with wins in both the Long Jump and the Javelin. Courtney Rhoda continued her great season with another personal record in the Shot Put with a throw of 8.94m. Also hitting a personal record was Freshman Jordan Codding with a vault of 2.80m in the Pole Vault. At Sacramento State Erica Ruiz and Luz Sanchez, worked together to finish 5th and 6th and hit personal records in the 5000m competing side by side with four year schools.

The Bear Cubs will travel to American River to compete in the AR Invite next weekend.
