The Cubs had a top 3 finish at the statewide Cuesta College meet last weekend. This was SRJC's mid-season peak meet and the team posted almost 90% personal bests in all of their events.
The SRJC men were led by freshman standout, Mark Sidorenko, who won all of his individual events including the 100 Free, 100 Fly and the 50 Free. His time of 45.52 currently ranks as the fastest time in the state so far this season. The team of Chadwick Leung (back), Nate English (breast), Sidorenko (fly), and Jack McCormick (free) also won the 400 Medley relay in a season best time of 3:37.19 to close out the meet. SRJC also finish 2nd in the 200 Free and 200 Medley relays as well.

The Cubs are back home training hard on the second half of the season and will compete in the Big 8 Invitational at American River College this weekend, Friday, March 16th at 10am.
