Sacramento, CA – The Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) Track and Field team had a strong showing at the Beaver Invitational.
Men's Highlights:
- NJ Robert won the Pole Vault with a mark of 4.25m, placed 2nd in Javelin with 40.41m, and 3rd in the 110m Hurdles with 16.88.
- Jared Hayes finished 4th in the 800m with a time of 1:59.56 and 4th in the 1500m with 4:06.40.
- Johnny Ando took 6th in the 800m with 2:00.16.
- Josiah Orozco placed 5th in the Long Jump with 6.46m.
- Oscar Cruz finished 4th in the Discus with 38.13m.
- Vitauts Vanags placed 6th in the Hammer with 30.31m.
Next week, SRJC Track and Field head to the Cal Opener at UC Berkeley, where they will test themselves against strong competition.
