Morris and Gradus Recognized with Conference and Team Awards

In only their second season back after the men's water polo program was dropped in 2019, the Bear Cubs improved their overall win-loss record this season and had several individuals honored with both All American and All Conference honors. 

Leading the team defense for his second season, sophomore 2-meter defender, Cole Morris finished the season with 38 steals, 57 goals, 30 assists, 25 ejections drawn, and 23 field blocks. As a result he was named an Honorable Mention to the NorCal Water Polo All American Team as well as the Big 8's All Conference Second Team. Morris also earned SRJC's Defensive MVP and Captain awards. 

Freshman center Ben Gradus, was recognized as All Conference Honorable Mention. Gradus had 64 goals, 12 assists, 22 steals, 4 field blocks and 25 ejections drawn on the season. He was also named SRJC's Offensive MVP.

Sophomore team co-captain and utility player, Sebastian King Gile had 20 goals, 19 assists, 35 steals, 4 field blocks, and 21 ejections drawn and was awarded SRJC's Coaches and Captian Awards.

Other SRJC award winners included Enrique Jimenez Commitment to Excellence (2nd year athlete with 3.5 GPA or higher), and freshman Ben Binder with Most Inspirational Player.
