Madison Green was born and raised in Tulare, California. Green completed her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in Autism & Developmental Disabilities at Long Island University Brooklyn. On the softball field at LIU Brooklyn as a Blackbird, Green was a member of a championship winning program with an NCAA Regional appearance and became the first LIU Brooklyn softball player in program history to win the Northeast Conference Golden Glove Award. In the classroom, she graduated with honors, was on the Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll and an NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete.
 After her four years of eligibility, Green joined Roy Kortmann’s coaching staff at LIU Brooklyn as a volunteer assistant coach. While a member of Kortmann’s staff, Green was a part of the 2016 NEC Coaching Staff of the Year after coaching the Blackbirds to a NEC Conference Championship and NCAA Regional appearance.

Green moved back home to Tulare to substitute teach at Tulare Union High School. While working at Tulare Union she was the Varsity Assistant Softball Coach until 2019. Green then began working on her master’s degree at Fresno State University while becoming the Assistant Softball Coach for Reedley College. In 2020, Green graduated from Fresno State University with a Master of Arts in Kinesiology-Sport Psychology Option.
