In their second game of their own Crossover Tournament, the Bear Cubs (3-1) were matched against the Rams (1-1) of City College of San Francisco. Ivy Gonzalez banked in a 1-footer off of Kaia Eubanks' assist to start the scoring a minute into the contest. Jayden Borgna tied the score 31 seconds later. Kaia Eubanks cut baseline, caught the pass from Sydney Martin, who was at the high post, and flipped in the reverse shot at the 8:08 mark. Madison Thomas grabbed an offensive rebound and dropped in the field goal. To'shia Reynolds sank three unanswered baskets until Eubanks' putback with 5:33 on the clock. Shasta Vlasak intercepted a pass near the Rams' wing, got the ball to Lindsey Arellano, who drove the ball past half court and passed ahead to Eubanks cutting to the hoop as the trailer. Eubanks made the basket, was fouled on the play, and sank the and-one free throw to close the gap to 9-10 at the midpoint of the quarter. After Reynolds scored another field goal, the Bear Cubs put together a 7-0 run on Eubanks' fast break layup, Arellano's 3-pointer, and Cece Solano's low post move to go out in front 16-12 with 2:05 left. The Rams scored the last 8 points in the quarter, including a 3-pointer by Alessandra Nelson two seconds before the buzzer to take a 20-16 lead.

The Bear Cubs erased their deficit with their 9-0 run in the first 5:12 of the second quarter on Sydney Martin's 4-footer on a baseline inbounds pass from Hailey Webb, Ivy Gonzalez's 2-footer off of Kaia Eubanks' assist, Webb's floater from the middle of the key, Shasta Vlasak's back door cut and layup after catching Sydney Martin's assist, and one free throw by Martin. Madison Thomas' putback dropped in at the 4:37 mark, making the Bear Cubs' lead 25-22. Eubanks' short dribble drive around the baseline defender and Vlasak's 6-footer off of Martin's assist stretched the lead to 29-22 with 3:33 on the clock. Thomas scored five more points on another putback, a free throw, and a field goal, while Ivy Gonzalez swished a 3-pointer with 53 seconds left to make the Bear Cubs' margin 32-27 by halftime.

The Bear Cubs scored first on Shasta Vlasak's steal and pull-up 2-footer after 37 seconds of third quarter play. Madison Thomas put in a basket on the Rams' next possession. Lindsey Arellano drained a high-arching 3-pointer and Sydney Martin made one free throw before Malea Scobie made a putback and a field goal from inside the key and To'shia Reynolds also sank a shot. After Kaia Eubanks hit a 15-footer, Thomas made two baskets to close to 39-40 at the 5:12 mark. To finish the period, Eubanks dropped in a 10-footer and made two out of six free throws, and Cece Solano drove along the baseline and flipped in a reverse shot back over her shoulder, while Alessandra Nelson drained a 3-pointer, putting the Bear Cubs' advantage at 46-42 by the end of the quarter.

The Rams held the Bear Cubs scoreless for over eight minutes of the fourth quarter as they surged in front 56-46 with 2:09 on the clock. Kaia Eubanks finally put in two more points for the Bear Cubs on a 2-footer after a dribble drive around a defender with 1:47 left. She scored again on a low post move 41 seconds later. Ivy Gonzalez's 3-pointer with 23 seconds remaining pulled the Bear Cubs within three points at 53-56. The Bear Cubs were forced to foul. To'shia Reynolds missed both free throws. Ivy Gonzalez pulled down the rebound and called a timeout with 17 seconds left. The Bear Cubs advanced the ball to their front court sideline. They were able to inbound the ball, but then the next pass was fumbled and the Rams grabbed the ball. The Bear Cubs fouled Reynolds again. But this time she made both free throws to secure a 58-53 margin with just 8 seconds to go. The Bear Cubs were out of timeouts so Lindsey Arellano could only attempt a shot from just past half court. The ball bounced off the backboard and the Rams held onto it until the buzzer sounded on their 58-53 victory.

The Rams pulled down 18 offensive rebounds and converted them into 14 points. The Bear Cubs grabbed 11 offensive rebounds and scored 6 points off of them. The Bear Cubs made only 5 out of 15 free throws (33%), while the Rams made 8 out of 19 (42%). Once again the Bear Cubs were plagued with bad turnovers. They committed 18 of them, and the Rams scored 10 points directly off of them. Three Rams scored in double figures: Madison Thomas 22, To'shia Reynolds 18, and Alessandra Nelson 10.

Kaia Eubanks led the Bear Cubs with a season-high 21 points plus 9 rebounds. Ivy Gonzalez was held to 10 points. Lindsey Arellano and Shasta Vlasak each scored 6 points, Cece Solano and Sydney Martin 4 each, and Hailey Webb 2. Lindsey Arellano and Sydney Martin passed for 5 assists each.
