For their final Big 8 contest of the season, the Bear Cubs (15-12, 6-9) hosted the Beavers (10-16, 4-11) of American River College. Prior to tipoff, the three Bear Cub sophomores—Lindsey Arellano, Cece Solano, and Ivy Gonzalez—were honored in a special ceremony along with their families. The Beavers scored the first five points before Kaia Eubanks' successful low post move at the 6:12 mark. Within the next two minutes Ivy Gonzalez put in seven points on two drives, the second a 3-point play, and two free throws. Kyalei Williams swished a 3-pointer with 2:42 on the clock. Caitlin Baldwin drained a 3-pointer with 1:13 left and Areyana Francies a field goal seventeen seconds later to complete the scoring in the quarter with the Bear Cubs ahead 12-10.

Sydney Martin took the Bear Cubs' first shot of the second quarter and sank the long 3-pointer. Detrice Adams' field goal at the 6:37 mark cut their deficit to 12-15. The Bear Cubs outscored the Beavers 11-1 during the next four minutes on five shots in a row—Ivy Gonzalez's steal and layup, her drive, Kaia Eubanks' layup after Lindsey Arellano's steal, her 1-footer on a baseline cut and assist from Martin, and Arellano's 3-pointer—to sprint out to a 26-13 advantage. Kyalei Williams scored five consecutive points on a 3-pointer and a steal and layup with 2:05 left. Gonzalez's 3-pointer thirteen seconds before halftime made their lead 29-18.

Ivy Gonzalez hit a 15-footer to start the scoring in the third quarter and then Areyana Francies made a basket. After four missed shots, the Bear Cubs made six in a row—Gonzalez's 2-foot pullup jumper, her fast break layup, her drive across the key, Kaia Eubanks' low post spin move, and Gonzalez's two 3-pointers—to widen their lead to 45-23 by the midpoint of the period. The Bear Cubs scored two more points on Hailey Webb's drive with 2:46 left, to make their lead 47-23 by the end of the quarter.

Shasta Vlasak scored the first basket of the fourth quarter on a give-and-go play with Lindsey Arellano. Areyanna Francies sank a field goal, and then Betzie Hernandez drained a 3-pointer with 7:15 on the clock. After more than two scoreless minutes, Lindsey Arellano pulled down a defensive rebound and drove the ball all the way past defenders to sink the layup. Kyalei Williams made a basket, and a minute later Ivy Gonzalez banked in a 1-footer off of Cece Solano's assist. Williams hit another field goal, and then Gonzalez made a layup as the trailer on a fast break with Arellano's assist pass at the 2:55 mark. Cece Solano scored the Bear Cubs' last two points on a 3-footer with 1:07 left. Ashley Laguna-Gonzalez made two free throws with 46 seconds remaining to complete the scoring, as the Bear Cubs won by a final score of 60-31.

The Beavers were missing their two high-scoring post players, so the Bear Cubs were able to take advantage and limit the visitors to just six offensive rebounds and less than ten points from inside the paint. The Bear Cubs overcame a poor shooting first quarter—four out of fourteen (29%)—and made over 40% the rest of the game. Only Kyalei Williams reached double figures for the Beavers with 14 points.

Ivy Gonzalez led the Bear Cubs with 32 points and seven rebounds. Kaia Eubanks scored 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Lindsey Arellano added 5 points, Betzie Hernandez, Sydney Martin, and Caitlin Baldwin 3 each, Shasta Vlasak, Cece Solano, and Hailey Webb 2 each. Lindsey Arellano led in assists with 5 and Sydney Martin passed for 4.
