Rose Nevin, a former Bear Cub post player, has joined the coaching staff while also working towards her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications at Sonoma State University. After graduating from Petaluma High School in 2021, Nevin enrolled at SRJC during the pandemic and played her freshman year in gyms without fans in the stands. As a sophomore, she was a valuable member of the 2022-23 team that lost in overtime in the State Semi-finals to the eventual champions Orange Coast College Pirates.
Following her graduation from SRJC with an AA in Business Administration, Rose transferred to Long Beach State University where she attended classes for just one year. She returned to Sonoma County and was eagerly welcomed back by Coach Campbell, this time as an assistant coach.
In her free time, Rose takes Hot Pilates classes at a yoga studio in Petaluma and enjoys going on hikes with friends.
