Alex Cruz begins his third season with the Bear Cubs. He is also currently a Youth Wrestling Coach at NorCal Fighting Alliance in Santa Rosa, CA.
He began his coaching career at El Molino High School in Forestville, CA, serving as an assistant coach for three years. Cruz also coached three years at the youth club level for the Mat Rats Wrestling Club out of Forestville as well. He was a wrestler at SRJC in 2006.
Cruz attended Piner High School in Santa Rosa, CA, where he participated in varsity wrestling, was a NBL league Champion and placed 6th at the North Coast Section Championships. After graduating he attended SRJC.
Cruz resides in Windsor, CA and enjoys spending time with his younger brother, wrestling and is an active fisherman on the weekends. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
