SRJC Women's Swimming & Diving finished 3rd overall at the CCCAA State Championship Meet last weekend, making it the 12th time in school history they have finished in the top 3.
Three new school records were broken including Jasmine Alger's 3rd place finish in the 200 Fly 2:11.32, Taylor Sargis 2nd place finish in the 100 Breast 1:04.97, and Mary Lane's 3rd place finish in the 400 IM 4:40.41.
Other stand out performances included Hailey Vance's 2nd place finish in the 100 Back and 3rd place finish in the 200 Back; Sargis's 3rd place finishes in the 200 IM and 200 Breast; Lucia Mora's 4th and 5th place finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes; Lane's 7th place finish in the 200 IM; Elana Candiotti's 7th place finish on the 1M board. The women's relay team of Vance, Mora, Sargis, and Annika Erickson finished 2nd in the 200 Medley as well.
