Cubs Open Season with a variety of meets and a Young Roster

The 2025 Cubs are a young squad of freshmen athletes led by sophomore team captain and 2024 Big 8 Swimmer of the Year, Victoria Creaves, and 2024 All Americans Hannah Hoffman and Rose Williams. The team has started the season with a variety meets allowing for a wide range of event formats, highlights include:

NORCAL RELAYS at SRJC

LOS RIOS INVITE at Sac City & American River Colleges

CCSF INVITE at City College of San Francisco

  • Creaves winning the 100 Free and 100 Fly
  • Klosevitz taking 2nd in the 500 Free and 3rd in the 200 IM, and
  • Williams taking 3rd in the 500 Free

DELTA INVITE at San Joaquin Delta College

  • Creaves winning the Sprint Freestyle Event Discipline, placing 1st in the 50, 100, and 200 Frees
  • Klosevitz winning the Distance Freestyle Event Discipline, placing 1st in the 1650, 500 Frees and 3rd in the 200 Free
  • Hoffman winning the Individual Medley Event Deiscipline, placing 1st in the 400, 200, and 100 IM's, and 
  • Chase winning the 1M Board

This week the Bear Cubs head to socal for the statewide Mt. SAC Invite February 28-March 1.
